Indian Black Salt (Kala Namak, Sanchal Namak)

Indian black salt is actually pink after it has been powdered. It gives out a sulphurous odour and tastes like boiled eggs. It ignites appetite, helps digestion, a bit laxative, effective against gas, bloating, balances the acid production in the stomach and is beneficial for heartburn. Also helpful in intestinal parasites and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
