Food for losing weight

Vegetables: All leafy vegetables, broccoli, white cabbage, carrots, celery, cucumber, green beans, kale, parsley, radishes, shiitake mushroom (lowers blood lipid levels), tomatoes, turnips and moss campion.

 

Fruits: Pineapple, cranberries, lemons, papaya, strawberries, apples and watermelons.

 

Herbs: Evening primrose oil, chickweed, dandelion leaves, garlic, kelp, stinging nettle and psyllium seeds.

Glucomannan: Are fibers that balance blood sugar levels as well as being filling for the stomach.

 

Lecithin: Helps the body break down fat.

 

Vitamin C: Blackcurrants, green bell peppers, Brussel sprouts, mangoes, cauliflower, white cabbage, oranges, grapefruits, tomatoes, potatoes and lettuce.

 

L-carnitine: Is an amino acid that helps the body to break down fat and can therefore help with weight loss.

Be active and exercise because by doing that you lose weight in the right places. Don’t worry too much about calories, exercise is much more potent when losing weight and maintaining your ideal weight.

 

* Remember to eat a variety of foods to get as much nutrients as you can.

 

* Maintain regular bowel movements.

 

* Ingest extra fibers half an hour before meals, with a glass of water. This maintains regular bowels and fills the stomach before eating.

 

* Decrease serving sizes (put less on your plate) and chew your food fully. Don’t use any sort of gum since it stimulates the stomach acids.

 

* Avoid white wheat, white rice, cakes, cookies and candy.

 

* Increase your intake of complex carbohydrates, like beans and legumes, vegetables, fruits, baked potatoes, sesame seeds, whole rice, whole grains and white fish.

 

** Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. The following contains few calories: Broccoli, cauliflower, white cabbage, celery, cucumber, green beans, kale, onions, radishes, spinach, turnips, apples, grapefruit, strawberries and watermelons. The following contains many calories: Bananas, cherries, figs, grapes, pears, pineapple, sweet potatoes, and white rice.

 

** Snacks: Popcorn, rice cakes, fresh fruits and unsweetened yogurt.

 

* Green tea is excellent since it is diuretic and a good antioxidant (protects against pollution).

 

* Supplementing with Q-10 can help in about 50% of cases (in case of deficiency), since it boosts metabolism.
