This herb protects the liver, increases its circulation and stimulates its bile production. It balances pancreatic function and therefore blood sugar. It stimulates and nourishes the adrenal glands, stimulates bowel movements and increases stress tolerance. Licorice root is expectorant, anti-inflammatory and softens and heals the digestive tract. It’s good for all manner of respiratory infections and asthma.
