Marigold (Calendula officinalis)
Marigold is anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, astringent, hemostatic, antibacterial, antifungal, cleanses the blood and heals wounds. It’s antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral action works both internally and externally. It’s a vasoconstrictor, constricts capillaries and is therefore good for red skin conditions like rosacea and rhinophyma (red nose) as well as being good for varicose veins. It works well on inflammations in the digestive system and is good for gastritis and stomach ulcers. It cleanses the blood and is therefore often used for acne and eczema.

Active ingredients: E.g. Triterpenes, Essential Oils, Sterols, Flavonoids and Saponins.

How to use: 1 teaspoon in 1 cup boiling water, steeped for 15 minutes, 3 times a day.
