Yarrow - 100 g
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
This herb is antispasmodic, astringent, a little bit bitter, diaphoretic, hypotensive, febrifuge, diuretic, hemostatic, emmenagogue and anti-inflammatory. It heals all bleeding wounds, both internally and externally. It balances the menstrual cycle, lessens menstrual bleeding in case of heavy periods (menorrhagia) and lessens menstrual cramps. It’s a good herb for colds and flu since it is both febrifuge and diaphoretic. It strengthens veins and is therefore good for varicose veins and to lower blood pressure. You need to use it continuously for 3 months for it to affect the vascular system and menstrual cycle. Chamazulene is both anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic. Sesquiterpene stimulates and strengthens the digestive glands, Achilleine is hemostatic (stops bleeding) and the Flavonoids are antispasmodic.
